The Coachmen drum and bugle corps was founded in 1972 and were members of the Canadian and Ontario drum corps associations.
The corps performed as a parade and exhibition unit in their first two seasons and competed at the 1975 Canadian Nationals, winning the “Class E” standstill title. In 1976, the Keswick unit entered the field of competition, participating at the Canadian “Junior C” circuit and Canadian Nationals “Class C” championships, placing 7th in both.
The following year saw the corps compete in the “Class C” division at the 1977 Nationals, placing 7th once again and finished 4th at the Provincial contest. In their final season of activity, the Coachmen placed 4th in the 1978 Canadian Nationals “Cadet Class”.
They ceased operations in 1979.
