The Hollywood Knights drum and bugle corps was organized in the fall of 1982, under the leadership of Chuck Edwards, to promote a movie release of the same name.
Hosting its first rehearsal on January 15th, 1983, the Hollywood unit began, they offered free brass instruction from two legends, Tutti Camarata (Dorsey Brothers & Bennu Goodman orchestras) & Pete Candoli (Woody Herman & Stan Kenton orchestras). The corps entered the field of competition in June of 1983 but were unable to complete the season.
They disbanded in 1984.
