In the fall of 1966, the corps was granted permission to compete in the “Class B” division of the SoCal drum corps circuit.
From at least 1967, the corps was under the direction of Walter Smith. They used a Spanish style uniform and music theme. They were sponsored by the Amvet Post 30 of Gardena and eventually became a feeder corps for the Royal Guardsmen.
They disbanded in 1971.
