The CapitolAire Petites “All-Girls” drum and bugle corps was formed in the fall of 1972 as a training unit corps for the CapitolAires “All-Girls”.
In their inaugural season, the corps performed in parades and exhibitions within the community and entered the field of competition in 1974 as a Midwest “Class C” competitor. They continued to progress over the next year and finally joined the Cadet Corps International (CCI) circuit, composed of primarily feeder corps, placing 6th at the 1976 CCI championships.
In 1977, the corps fused into the CapitolAires corps.
