The Brigadiers drum and bugle corps was formed in the fall of 1963 under the direction of Bill Noble. They received their equipment in December and began rehearsals in January.
In their inaugural season, they competed at the 1964 National Association circuit championships, placing 12th and followed up the next season with continued progress within the National circuit.
In 1966, they merged with the Pennsylvanians to form the Pennsylvanian Brigadiers.
