The Blue Scorpions drum and bugle corps was active from at least 1968 to 1975 and sponsored by the Amvets Post 243 of Chicago. Their colors were blue and black uniforms.
They were primarily a parade and exhibition corps, participating in the 1971 IL State Fair as an exhibition and entered the field of competition for one season, 1972. They continued to entertain through 1975 before disbanding in 1976.
