Edward Bonfiglio and sponsored by the American Legion (AL) Post 52 of Coldwater.
They were members of the Wolverine drum corps circuit and their first uniform consisted of white blazers, blue shorts and blue tams. The corps entered the field of competition in 1960 in the Wolverine circuit, placing 4th in 1961 and appeared competitively in 1962 under their new name, the Blue Angels, placing 9th in the preliminaries of the Michigan AL state championships.
The Blue Angels appeared in the 1964 VFW state contest and continued competing and participating in several events throughout the Midwest in 1965, appearing as a parade unit in 1966.
They disbanded in 1967.
