The Collegettes “All-Girls” drum and bugle corps was organized in 1962 by Gil Peters with a starting complement of 6 brass, 3 percussion and 4 guard. Ed Law and Thomas Stelling were also involved in the corps’ development.
They were members of both the Canadian (CDCA) and Provincial (ODCA) circuits and entered “Junior Standstill” competition in 1966, placing 5th at the Canadian Nationals and improving to a 3rd place finish the following year. They entered the field of competition in 1968, participating in the Provincial championships over the next 4 years in the “All Girls” class, placing 3rd in 1970 and 1971.
They disbanded in 1972.
