Constellation drum and bugle corps was formed independently in 1984 through a merger between Abénakis of St. Prosper and a splinter group of the Renaissance of St. Georges de Beauce as mebres of the FAMQ circuit.
Fabien Rodrigue, René Champagne, Mr. Lambert and Hervé Larochelle were among the original leaders of the organization. The instructional staff included Normand Morin, Mario Bolduc, Martine Bolduc and Francis Auclair. In their inaugural season, they competed at the 1985 Drum Corps East “Class A/60” championships with an 11th place finish. In 1986, the corps participated at the Canadian Nationals “Class B” division, finishing in 6th position.
They disbanded in 1987 due to a lack of membership.
