The Canadian Cavaliers drum and bugle corps was organized in September of 1967 under the direction of Lee Kallen.
At that time, the corps was Canada’s only Japanese drum corps. Primarily a parade unit, they competed on the field as members of the Northwest Drum Corps Association in 1970 and 1971 within the “Junior C” class. In 1972, the Cavaliers reverted to parade status where they remained until 1983.
They disbanded in 1984.
