Alliance Musicale was a drum & bugle corps formed in early 1978 through a merger between the Brigade of Terrebonne and the Hirondelles of Bois des Filion.
In their inaugural season of competition, the corps participated at the 1978 FAMQ championships, placing 4th in the finals and the CCMQ, Circuit de Compétition du Québec, finishing in 6th
position in the “Class B” preliminaries. In 1979, the corps competed at the World Open “Class B” championships, making it to the finals with a 6th place finish and topped it off with a 3rd place finish at the FAMQ “Class B” finals.
The following year, they participated at the Canadian Nationals, finishing in 8th position and climbed to 7th place at the FAMQ “Class A” championships. In 1981, Alliance Musicale contended at the DCI “Class A” preliminaries with an 18th place finish and closed out the season with a 5th place finish at the FAMQ “Class A” championships.
In the fall of 1981, the corps disbanded and their instruments and location became the foundation in the formation of the Odyssée senior drum corps.
