CORPS Photos
The Fantasia drum and bugle corps was formed in the fall of 1978 as a self-supported unit.
As members of the Northeastern circuit, the corps placed 4th in the 1979 championships and began regional competition the following season with “Class A” appearances in the 1980 DCI East contest, placing 3rd, the Key to the Sea Open, finishing 8th in the finals & the American International Open (AIO), where they finished in 12th position in the preliminaries.
The next year saw the corps place 6th in the 1981 World Open “Class B” finals along with a 22nd place finish in the DCI “Class A” prelims and 4th position in the Catholic Youth Organization “Senior” division circuit. In their last season of activity, the corps traveled extensively in several 1982 regional “Class A” championships that included DCI East (7th), DCI Midwest (9th), AIO (10th - Finals), Key to the Sea (9th - Prelims) & the US Open (11th - Prelims).
They disbanded in 1983.
