The Bluewater Guardsmen drum and bugle corps was formed in early 1978 as a result of a merger between the Guardsmen of Windsor and the Troubador Guardsmen of Flint. The corps competed for one short season within the Ontario Drum Corps Association and Great Lakes circuits.
