Crescendo

The Crescendo drum & bugle corps was originally formed in 1976 as the Québécois drum & trumpet corps.

In the fall of 1980, the corps converted to a drum and bugle corps and competed as members of the 1981 FAMQ “Class C” circuit, placing 7^th and, under their new name, the Crescendo, was crowned the 1982 FAMQ “Class C” champions. That year, they also participated in the DCI “Class A” championships, finishing in 12^th position in the prelims.

The 1983 season proved to be another successful year for the corps, winning the Drum Corps / World Open “Class B” championships and finishing 11^th in the DCI Canada “Open Class” preliminaries. They capped off the season with the FAMQ “Class A” circuit title. The following year saw the corps rank 18^th in the 1984 DCI quarterfinals and defended their FAMQ “Class A” title.

They disbanded in 1985.
