The Hudson Valley All-Stars drum and bugle corps was formed in 1990 based in Poughkeepsie, sponsored by the Greater Danbury Area Drum Corps Association, under the leadership of David A. Schwartz.
The unit was composed of members of 4 distinct corps - Circleville (40 members). J.H. Ketcham (20 members) Mid-Hudson Rivermen (20 members), and Catholic War Veterans (1 member). A member of the Mid-Hudson Rivermen contingent won first place in the DCI individual and ensemble competition in Buffalo on the electronic keyboard. The All-Stars competed for one season, placing 19th in the 1990 DCI “Class A” preliminaries.
They disbanded in 1991.
