The Éclipses of Verdun drum and bugle corps was transformed in 1978 as a coed competitive unit through a merger between the Éclipses “All-Girls” and a splinter group from the Éclipses of Laflèche.
In their inaugural season of competition, the corps was a member of the Upstate New York circuit, winning the 1978 title and became members of both the 1979 “Circuit de Compétition Musicale du Québec”, placing 2nd in the “Class A” championships and won the FAMQ “Class A” title.
In 1980, the corps fused into the Éclipses of Longueuil.
