Northern Cavaliers

Anchorage, Alaska wishes to announce the formation of a new Drum & Bugle Corps, known as the Northern Cavaliers, under the direction of A2C Keith B. Victor, former member of the "Jersey Devils". Plans for the Corps call for a 10-man drum line, 24-man horn line and an All-Girl Color Guard, which is to number 10. The Corps colors are that of the state of Alaska which is Gold and Blue.

Victor is the son of Mr. Lawrence Victor, who is at the present the president of the Junior Guards and Corps Association from Central New Jersey.

The Corps is sponsored by the City Parks & Recreation Department, City Police Department, Chamber of Commerce and the Alaska Centennial Commission.

Plans call for the Corps to participate by 1967, which is the Alaskan Centennial, on the field with plans of sponsoring a contest in that year.
