The Cavalcade drum and bugle corps was formed in 1985 by Doug Bird as members of the Ontario Drum Corps Association.
In their first two seasons, the corps remained active locally as a parade and exhibition corps before competing in the 1987 Canadian Nationals “Parade Class”. The following season, Cavalcade moved up to field competition in the “Class C” category, winning both the 1988 Provincial and Canadian Nationals titles.
They ceased operations in 1989.
