The American Patriots drum and bugle corps was formed in 1973 as a member of the Greater New England (GNE) circuit.
In 1974, they entered the field of competition in the GNE “Class C” division and was crowned the 1975 GNE “Class C” champions. The following season, the Patriots moved up to the GNE “Class B” division, placing in 6th position.
They disbanded in 1977.
