Blue Angel Reveries

The Blue Angel Reveries drum & bugle corps, nicknamed the Blueveries, was formed in 1975 through a merger between the Blue Angels of Danvers and the Immaculate Conception Reveries of Revere.

At the conclusion of the 1974 season, a devastating split in the Reveries’ ranks saw half the unit defect to the 27^th Lancers, leaving the remaining half little choice but to merge.

In 1975, the corps competed at the prelims of both the DCI East “Open Class”, placing 14^th and the World Open “Class A”, finishing in 21^st position before closing out the season as the Greater New England “Class A” champions.

In the fall of 1975, the corps merged with the Cardinals of Melrose to form North Star.
