In 1981, the Aurora of Portland and the Pine Tree Warriors of Lewiston merged to form “The Corps” as members of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) circuit under the leadership of Bertrand “Bert” Dutil.
They competed at the World Open “Class B” championships in 1981, placing 21st in the prelims and finished in 5th position in the CYO “Prep” division. The following year saw the unit place 2nd in the CYO “Junior” division and moved back up to the “Prep” class with a 3rd place finish.
They disbanded in 1984.
