Dynamics

The Dynamics drum and bugle corps was formed in the fall of 1972 under the leadership of Peter Ewald.

The corps was active as a parade and exhibition unit, winning the New Jersey American Legion state “Parade Class” from 1975 to 1977. They entered the field of competition in 1976, performing regionally, and appeared in the 1977 World Open “Class B” championships, placing 11^th in the preliminaries, the Garden State Circuit contest, where the Dynamics placed 7^th and were crowned the Metro All-American circuit champions.

In 1978, the corps merged with the Royalaires of Paterson to form the Dynamic Royalaires.
