The Incognito Drum and Bugle Corps is an Open Class competitive junior drum and bugle corps based in Brea and Garden Grove, California.
Tony T. Nguyen founded the Incognito Drum Line in 2005, and the unit competed in the Southern California Percussion Alliance, the American Drum Line Association, and Winter Guard International percussion circuits.
In 2007, the Incognito Winter Guard was added, competing in the Winter Guard Association of Southern California and Winter Guard International.
In 2008, Nguyen and others finally founded the Incognito Drum and Bugle Corps of Norwalk, California, and the corps was approved by Drum Corps International (DCI) to compete as an Open Class corps. The corps appeared in seven California contests in 2008. Relocating to Orange, California, the 2009 corps was in seven California shows and left the state for the first time with a weekend tour to New Mexico and Arizona.
Although the corps weathered the Great Recession of 2007-09, by 2010, economic conditions forced the corps to end its season after the 4th of July and take time to build a more stable financial base.
After more than three seasons of inactivity, DCI announced on May 21, 2014 that Incognito had been approved to return to the field, joining six other corps as additions to the DCI Open Class summer schedule.
Through 2017, the corps has marched a short season of about three weeks of mostly Southern California shows.
