Delta Brigade was formed in 1990 in Little Rock, Arkansas. During its formative years of 1990-1993, Delta had to borrow instruments and did limited touring.

In 1994, Delta Brigade was able to purchase a few instruments with corporate grants. They extended their 1994 tour, winning the Drum Corps South Division III Championship and finishing 13th at DCI Division III Finals. Delta Brigade was voted DCI Most Improved Division III Corps of the Year for the 1994 and 1995 seasons.

In 1995, Delta Brigade again won the Drum Corps South Division III Championship and finished sixth at DCI Division III Finals.

Because of financial difficulties in 1996, Delta Brigade was not able to tour. In 1997, after improving corps finances, the corps successfully competed again, placing ninth at DCI Division III Finals.

Delta Brigade did not compete in 1998, due to the illness of a key staff member, and the 1999 season was curtailed when a traffic accident took the lives of two corps members.

During the 2000 summer competitive tour, Delta Brigade made finals at the Coast Guard Open and was awarded the Caballeros Award for being the corps that displayed the true spirit of drum corps for the season. Corps members visited Niagara Falls and Chicago's Sears Tower, and toured Washington, D.C. for two days.

During the 2001 and 2002 seasons, Delta again went inactive to make plans for upgrading equipment and to undertake fundraising to meet future goals. Their website (http://www.deltabrigade.com/delta.htm) has not been updated.
